Tuesday Talks

Our Tuesday Talks are launched for the summer

Every Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Acadian Museum of PEI will host guest who speak on various subjects.  We also plan on continuing with other speakers this fall and winter.

July 19: the history and restoration of the Doucet House
July 26: the tradition of St. Anne Sundays on Lennox Island
August 2: the history of the Roma at Three Rivers National Historic Site
August 9: to be announced 
August 16: Archaeologist Helen Kristmanson
August 23: plant life present on the Island at the arrival of European settlers with Kate MacQuarrie

We will also have a talk with Georges Arsenault about the families present at Malpeque (Point-aux-Vieux) from 1728 to 1758. This will take place during our celebrations for National Acadian Day on August 15th.   

No reservation required. Admission is free however donations are always appreciated.
