Schools

The museum offers an educational program, through guided tours to groups of students from Prince Edward Island and elsewhere. 

 

Dates: Throughout the school year 

Program: 

• Presentation of the L’Acadie de l’Île video

• Permanent exhibit

• Temporary exhibit

• Possibility of doing a multitude of activities and games related to Acadian history or the temporary exhibit. 

 

Students are allowed to eat their snacks or lunch on-site. There is a space outside behind the Museum to play or have a picnic.

Length: 1 to 1.5 hours

Admission: The rates are determined by PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation. The invoice will be sent directly to the Department of Education for schools in their network. For private schools, please contact us for the rate.
